I finally managed to get some photos of Delia in Progress So you can see how she started to seven days later how she is coming along.........

Delias arms and hands still got to do her blushing but you can see her dry skin

After her legs have tiny baby hairs and dry skin on the ankles just like a newborn...still need to blush

I am saving her head photos as i want her to be a surprise i am still rooting her at present BUT ....I have now started my Ltd Ed George Kit .....

Day 3 of WORK IN PROGRESS

Hello ,sorry i didnt get chance to blog yesterday as some amazing things have been happening , My ASIAN prototype Reborn Hasina has a new mum and she has asked me to do front and back plates for her so i have been hunting them down , Also my other NEW kit Arrived so i had to inspect that and I have to say PLBD have done a Brilliant job Hats off to RACHEL MAYNARD and CASSIE PEEK ....
In fact there is a little story that goes with this kit that i will add when i start his reborn process ....Not yet as i only work on one baby at a time.....
BACK TO DELIA .......I have spent 2 days on her now and her veining mottling and undertones are done But as many of you know there is more to be done i like to paint my babies as there skin would develop in utero as in their capillaries and main veins then a flesh etc this is why i say you need to know about more than just painting to produce a Reborn Baby that could easily be a living breathing human being......
Having trouble uploading pictures i have worked so hard today at layer 7 and baby still looking a little pale so given her a secret wash ,,,cant give all my secrets away....... Ive been working on her non stop and its now 8pm time for bed as my gall bladder has started to play up again .....good night and i will update you tomorrow....


DAY 4 WORK IN PROGRESS ......
What a day finally finished painting little lady whom i have decided to name Natalia in honour of Natali Blick ,waiting on Parchment paper ...all this waiting is a nightmare....
I have started rooting her hair and its been 5 hrs and only a tiny section has been done !

DELIA DAY 5 UMBILICAL CORD AND HAIR ROOTING

Well today has been hectic as my studio is being remodelled and i have just finished painting delias skin it has been pain staking but i love it her umbilical cord i had hand sculpted has arrived and looks excellent on her tummy plate have decided george needs one too.....
I love this part where the kit comes to life so to speak , i am still waiting on her eyes as they are prostetics and are taking a while to come from the seller ,any how down to details Delias hair is being ultra micro rooted with two different hair colours and i have used a 46g needle to give the thin sides and 43g crown for the thicker top ,i have mapped my directions this time and rooted from the cut end of the hair and it has made a real difference , i will be rooting her lashes and brows too as the 46g leaves no hole atall it looks like the hair has just grown through .....I have used newborn brown delta dawn for the sides and angora kid hair for the top .

I am so tired i just left blogging last night only to realise i didnt publish it !!! DOHHH
Well im thrilled with the way her hairs coming along and it is so soft , I attached the magnets to her dummy umbilical cord and tummy plate decided to cover the wagnet with a piece of felt so its protected against get body .

~EYES~ Still waiting for little ladies eyes they are late and with her hair nearly finished they need to hurry up .....i have taken photos of progress but my camera decided to stop working on my phone soooo they will be uploaded later....Also been working hard on Reborn Central Website it is going to be Amazing what this space

Kit Arrived Today!!!!!!

OHHHH MYYYY i am in awe Delia arrived today its Wednesday 28th August 2013 and i am so excited i had to order her tummy plate from another supplier but that arrived today too i am in love with this kit ,,,,,,,,

DAY 1 OF REBORNING DELIA
ok so i have just washed and dried kit and tummy plate that took half hour and i have taken a few pictures of the blank kit so you can see the transformation happen i like to do my veins first so i have mixed some pre mix vein colour with thick medium for the 3D veins on the ankles and other areas ....Pictures to come .....

WAITING FOR THE KIT

Every once in a while i will come across a sculpt that i have to have! Natali is an extremely talented sculptor in my opinion she has mastered the art of sculpting newborn babies and just when i thought she had out done herself she went and turned DELIA into a kit for us artists to put our mark on ....Delia is a 20 inch Super Soft German Vinyl Doll kit with the most exquisit 3/4 Limbs  she also has a Tummy plate, Her face reminds me of my daughters when she was newborn thus why i fell in love with the kit.

I have been waiting for what seems like forever as it is bank holiday over here in the uk and also had to restock the paints and the human prostetic eyes ive ordered will take a while to arrive too....

I remember when i first started reborning and it was a hobby that has now turned into my life ,I only ever work on one baby at a time but as ive said before it is quality not quantity.
I thought i would do a day by day Diary so you can see the amount of time and effort that goes into these babies in a quest for perfection .
I know some artists are now speed painting But i myself am not a fan i like to take my time and savour every minute ..........

WILL SHE BE FOR SALE????
